www.sciencedaily.com

In fact, bats and primates appear to be responsible for the transfer of these viruses to other mammals in many cases.

Stress wakes up sleeping herpes viruses – but how?
www.sciencedaily.com

Hiding their DNA genome inside the nucleus of the infected cells, the herpes viruses establish a lifelong infection in humans, and they are known to reactivate in response to different kinds of stress.
